Art at APL now has a new exhibit: “Lasting Impression“. This exhibit is curated by the Opalka Gallery.

“Lasting Impression” can be viewed by the general public during operating hours at the Pine Hills Branch from June 4 through Nov. 5.

Feel free to refer to this exhibition guide if needed.

This exhibit is meant to represent the duality of roles that art professors tend to undergo, that of creating art and that of creating students into artists. In this exhibit, eleven regional printmaking professors were asked to exhibit and to, in turn, invite a current or former student to exhibit alongside them.

“Lasting Impression” reveals both the range of printwork being made in our region and the lasting impressions students and faculty make on each other.
