Happy Thanksgiving! We have so much to be thankful for!
Thanks to all of the donors and supporters of the Albany Public Library Foundation. Your Annual Appeal gifts supported almost two dozen library programs this year, from one-on-one career coaching at Pine Hills to the popular Teen Chef program at Delaware Ave to a Spa Day for little kids at Washington Ave.
Thanks to all of our Literary Legends campaign supporters and sponsors. With your help we raised $33,500 this year, which pays for the Art at APL program as well as Foundation operations. It was our biggest gala ever and we were especially thrilled to have so many librarians and clerks join us for the party this year! Thanks to our Honorary Co-Chairs — Joe Bonilla, Kaitlyn MacLeod, and Sarah Reginelli — for helping to make Literary Legends 2019 a huge success! (And an extra-special thank you to Kaitlyn for joining the Foundation board!)
Thanks to our wonderful Literary Legends – Peter Golden, Dan Wilcox, and Lyn Lifshin! Thank you for all of your work and thank you for sharing your gifts with us.
And we are especially thankful to all of our volunteers–we couldn’t do any of this without you. Thank you to the Friends of the Albany Public Library–we are going to see a lot more of each from now on!
