The Friends & Foundation of Albany Public Library is a not-for-profit, charitable organization which relies on the efforts of many volunteers to accomplish our mission. Contact us if you would like to help us to provide financial support to the Albany Public Library. FFAPL volunteer opportunities are posted to our Volunteer Match page and United to Volunteer page.

Currently we are seeking new Tuesday Book Talk hospitality volunteers. Come to the FFAPL Friends Meeting on March 13th to find out more.

The Library and the FFAPL host student groups, retired professionals, seniors, and others with a charitable spirit who are looking to give something back to their community. The FFAPL  also supervises intensive hands-on learning volunteer projects for 4, 6 or 12 weeks for college students and life-long learners. Get in touch if you are interested.
