The Touhey Library Equity Fellowship‘s application portal is finally open! Applications are due on Friday, August 14th. Notifications will be sent on Friday, August 28th.
The Touhey Library Equity Fellowship is a paid internship at the Albany Public Library offered by the Friends & Foundation of Albany Public Library thanks to a generous gift from the Carl E. Touhey Family Foundation. This fellowship program offers frontline library experience to current library science students at the University at Albany.
Eligible applicants are African American students who are currently enrolled at the University at Albany in pursuit of a Master of Science in Information Science degree, or in the undergraduate Combined Bachelor’s/Master’s in Information Science program.
