Are you looking for a way to support the Literary Legends gala that doesn’t involve joining a committee? Join us as a silent auction donor!
Donate a skill: Photographers, bakers, chefs, stylists, mechanics, carpenters, landscapers. We welcome your donation to support the foundation. Skilled-service gift certificates are always extremely popular in our auctions. It’s a great way to support the library while also highlighting your business.
Support your favorite restaurant: Our silent auction was built on restaurant gift certificates before the pandemic: we hope that we will again someday. In the meantime, our local restaurants are hurting and we are glad that they are still here. We welcome gift cards from your favorite local restaurants and invite our patrons and supporters to purchase a gift card to show your support. These will be combined into themed gift baskets.
Donate books: Our gala is full of book lovers (isn’t it?) And our new book baskets from Book House and SUNY Press are always popular. If you have some antique and collectible books to donate, we would love to feature them in the silent auction!
Book Related Gifts: One of our Honorary Co-Chairs is putting together book-lover gift baskets with items including reading lights and book marks. If you are a crafter or maker with something to include in the basket, please send it our way.
All silent auction donors will be thanked on our website and social media channels!
Ready to donate? Fill out the Silent Auction form and mail your gift to our office at the Washington Ave branch. Or hand deliver your gift to us: Bring it to the Washington Ave branch during normal business hours, or to the FFAPL Book Shed at the Delaware Branch on Tuesday afternoons.
Our Silent Auction Gift Form is a fillable PDF on Google Drive. Download the document to your computer to fill out online, or print a blank form to fill out.
If you have questions about antique books, send us an email and Alexis Bhagat or Roger Green will follow up with you. You can also just bring your antique books to the Tuesday Book Sale.
All other questions: Send us an email and we will put you in touch with our silent auction chair, Kim Parker.
