I am from Middletown, NY and moved to the Albany area to go to graduate school at University at Albany where I studied library science.
My first library job was as a district librarian in Berlin, NY. I retired from the Questar III BOCES, as the Director of the School Library System.
Retirement gave me the opportunity to attend the Tuesday book reviews and ultimately become the treasurer of the Friends of the APL. After we merged I remained on the Board, helping with book sales and other activities as they arise.
In my free time I like to read, knit, hike, play the piano and be open to learning new skills and doing new activities.
There is so much more to libraries than books. They are fascinating, especially as they evolving with the world of technology.

Meet Our Board posts will be running in the month of March. We want to let the public and our donors know all of the dedicated volunteers who serve on the FFAPL board. And, if you are interested in joining our board, contact us and someone from the Board Nominating Committee will follow up with you.
