My family and I are life-long residents of Albany. When my children were young, we enjoyed going to what is now known as the Bach Branch for young readers programs. Even then, it was a great place to meet friends and enjoy community events.
I have volunteered with the Friends and Foundation of the Albany Public Library for seven years, and am currently the Treasurer.
I love the Albany Public Library because of the branches. The seven branches of APL are located throughout the City, and are all within a short walk or bicycle ride from home for most people.
Meet Our Board!. We want to let the public and our donors know all of the dedicated volunteers who serve on the FFAPL board. And, if you are interested in joining our board, contact us and someone from the Board Nominating Committee will follow up with you.
