Centennial Celebration Fundraiser
Saturday, October 21
Cafe Madison • 1100 Madison Ave, Albany
We’re celebrating 100 years of the Albany Public Library! Join us on Oct. 21 for the the closing event of the centennial celebrations for a fundraiser in support of critical library programming. Click here to purchase your ticket now.
We’re marking the centennial with a series of special programs and activities at all seven branches highlighting the history of Albany Public Library and its importance to our community. On Oct. 21, we’re gathering with library champions like you, former staff, local writers and educators and business leaders to recognize the impact of the Albany Public Library on our region.
Help us raise critical funds for programs like #KeepAlbanyConnected, which extends free APL WiFi beyond the walls of library branches; Branching Out, a mural and performance program supported by the American Library Association, led by Jade Warrick and YouthFX; free concerts in the Bach Branch Garden this summer; and free Albany Public Library centennial festivities at Howe and Delaware in May and June.
