Please join us for a talk on February 15 by Isaiah Rashad, author of the new book Homicide of a Rat. Isaiah is a former gang member, who rose to become a United States Army Soldier / Gulf War Veteran, Police Officer, college Assistant Professor, and published Author. In 2005, Isaiah was the editor and publisher of the bi-monthly magazine; The Non-Verbal which bridged communications between the public and law enforcement.

On November 11, 2021, he published his latest work Homicide of a Rat. This novel provides readers with a literary Isaiah holds a Masters of Divinity in Global Leadership, BS; Christian Ministry in Counseling; BS; Global and Cultural Studies, AS; Research and Investigations. Isaiah is the author of several books including: Man’s Search For Peace which was a 2020 Pulitzer Prize Contender. On November 11, 2021, Isaiah published his latest work; Homicide of a Rat, his first major novel. And, of course he has more works in progress.


The Friends & Foundation of Albany Public Library hosts regular book reviews, author talks, and special presentations on Tuesdays at noon. This will be our first Tuesday program after a winter pause. FFAPL Tuesday Book Talks are free and open to the public.  Zoom room opens at 12 pm for socializing and announcements. Readings and talks begin at 12:15pm.
