The Honorable Owusu Anane, Albany Common Council representative for the 10th Ward, and Claire Reid, Chief Impact Officer for United Way of the Greater Capital Region have joined the Literary Legends Gala Committee as our Honorary Co-chairs.
We are delighted to work with them this year and thank them for stepping up to share their love for the Albany Public Library!

Claire Reid
Owusu Anane is the Councilman for Albany’s 10th Ward, one of the two wards that includes Pine Hills. He has held this position since January of 2018 and has since made a substantial impact on the lives of those who live in his neighborhoods. Chief Impact Officer for UWGCR, Claire Reid oversees all Community Impact departmental activities including planning, development and execution of UWGCR’s impact agenda, building community relationships, and leveraging strategies and innovations for broad investments and impact.
