Branching Out sprouted at the Howe Branch this summer, sent out shoots to Delaware, Bach, and Pine Hills, and has laid its bulbs at the Schenectady County Public Library this winter. It will bloom in the spring at Troy Public Library and anywhere else these seeds sprout. Made possible by the American Library Association, Stephen J. Branching Out is actually two inter-related projects: a live performance series and a mural painting workshop and exhibition. Both projects work together to amplify the voices of local BIPOC artists and youth.
